About us
The Cologne association emerged from the merger of "Rainbow Refugees Cologne Support Group e.V." and the self-organized group of and for LGBTIQ+ refugees and migrants, "SOFRA Cologne".
"SOFRA - Queer Migrants e.V." supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, intersex and queer people with a history of flight and migration.
It is the first LGBTIQ+ migrant self-organization (MSO) in North Rhine-Westphalia to provide a safe and empowering space (SAFE_R Spaces) for queer refugees and migrants.
SOFRA is the Arabic word for dining table, where everyone is welcome.
